Kanapitsa
This site is situated north of our diving base. It offers dives
of 15 – 20 meters depth in a rocky area with its typical
vegetation. The life under water is very rich, and as well as
the fish you also find moray and conger eels in the caves of
Kanapitsa.
Alonaki
This is a very famous site situated inside Paliouri camp site.
Alonaki bay is great for beginners as well as experienced
divers to discover a number of different kinds of sponge,
starfish, snails and anemones in a depth of 20 – 25 meters.
Chrousso
Situated close to the pier of Paliouri, not far from our diving
base, this spot combines rocky and sandy surroundings in a
unique way. The John Dory, Disco Doris Nudibranch or the
rare Pink flabellina are some of the attractions of this spot.
The crystal-clear water of this place and a visibility of 20
meters and more makes diving in Chrusso an unforgettable
experience.
Porto Valitsa
Also close to our diving base, very easy reachable by car or
boat, the dives at Porto Valitsa are difficult to forget. Dives
start in a beautiful bay where Octopus and Cuttlefish watch
you passing by, and then on to the main attraction that is the
wall. There are lots of nooks, crannies and overhangs to
explore where morays, congers and lobsters hang out.
Kakia Skala
The home of gropers, octopus and a lot of swarm fish, its
rich nature and rocky surroundings make you feel like
being one of these wonderful beings. Also different kinds of
corals and anemones show you the beauty of the sea.
Chandra
In a depth of 15 – 50 meters, in crystal-clear water and best
visibility conditions, diving in Chandra, will let you fly
while enjoying the plunge walls and overhangs with the
typical vegetation and life for this area.
Agios Nikolaos
The first spot touching the cape of the Kassandra peninsula
has rocky and sandy surroundings, with lots of sponge
cultures, different species of sea urchins and anemones and
a very good visibility.
Akra Agios Nikolaos
The cape of this peninsula. Plunging walls, caves and holes,
morays, octopus and lobsters. Here you find the main coral
occurrence in this area.
Reef Kanistro
This reef, situated close to the cape of this peninsula, offers
a rich rocky nature up to a depth of 35 meters. Swarm fish,
octopus and different species of snails have built their homes
in this beautiful place.
10.Faros
Close to the lighthouse of the cape, passing overhangs,
plunge walls and sandy grounds.
Akra Kanestron 1
This spot offers amazing holes and caves in the wall, where
you will see different kinds of lobster, like Spiny lobster and
Squat lobster. Also conger-eels, morays and groupers are
lurking around every corner.
Akra Kanestron 2
A second spot at Akra Kanestron, will bring you close to 40
meters, passing big sponge fields with e.g. tube sponge in
different colors, yellow cave sponge and the well known
bath sponge. Also a large number of gorgonians will get
your attention, and will show you the rich nature of this
area.
Kelifos
The next spots are situated close to the small island Kelifos,
which is at about 7 miles away from our diving center. This
island which has the figure of a turtle is also called Turtle
island and with the view on the village of Neos Marmaras
on the Sithonia peninsula, our 3 spots are found on the eastside
of the island.
Kelifos 1
At about 45 meters depth, this spot shows you how an island
looks like under water. With lots of swarm-fish, a large
number of different corals, anemones and star-fish, also
here you get an amazing impression of the Mediterranean
under water nature.
Kelifos 2
The second spot close to the island of Kelifos, guides you
along a plunge wall, where you meet conger-eels, moraines
and scorpion-fish. Also the very rare Saint Peter’s Fish can
be found in this place on a depth of about 35 meters.
